This research used the data which was collected for the study of primary planning and establishment of adolescent policies in Chungcheongbuk-do Province, as a secondary data resource. Firstly, it explored the gender differences in status delinquency and suicidal ideation among the adolescents. As for status delinquency, experiences of drinking and smoking were selected in this research. The result showed that male adolescents reported higher level of experience in drinking and smoking compared to their counterparts. The gender difference was not statistically significant in suicidal ideation, but the adolescents reported the experience of suicidal ideation more frequently than that of status delinquency. Next, a binomial logistic regression analysis was conducted to examine whether the stress and the experience of being discriminated influence the status delinquency and suicidal ideation among the adolescents. The result showed that age and experience of being discriminated influenced the act of drinking. In addition, stress from family life and from academic achievement, experiences of being discriminated from family environment, from academic achievement, and from gender showed its influence on the act of smoking, respectively. Also, stress from family life, from peers, from their age, and from their appearance showed statistically significant in suicidal ideation. Lastly, it suggested policy implications to reduce juvenile delinquency and to prevent them from suicide as well as the limitation in the research.
